What is Neuropsychological Testing?
Neuropsychological testing is an evaluation and comprehensive assessment designed to help determine what factors contribute to an individual’s learning, developmental, emotional, or behavioral challenges. An evaluation can include assessment of factors such as cognitive functioning, learning and memory, executive functioning, attention, visual-motor skills, academic skills, and emotional functioning. Often such an evaluation can provide a clarified diagnosis to guide decision making.
During an initial consultation, we will collaboratively assess what specific questions to explore. Through the evaluation process, I will determine areas of strength and weakness, and use these findings to make specific recommendations that will best serve the client.
Other Assessments:
I am also available to provide other types of assessments, including psychological assessments, personality assessments (including projective measures), and educational or learning disability assessments.
